Yes it is possible!

I am a big believer in romanticizing everything! Especially the things we have to do but, we may not always want to.

Exercising is one of those things we know we need to do.

As part of my self love journey, I have added a non negotiable work out to my morning routine.

P.s i always take the weekend off!

Somedays are easier then others, the thought of spending that 30 minutes in bed rather than in my basement is so tempting!

These are my tops tips to never skip a workout:

⚡️Find a place in your home where you will be working out. When we have a designated space in our home, we associate that space with the activity. For example; our beds are associated with rest and sleep so, if we have a corner or room we can use to exercise we are likely to follow through.

⚡️Buy some pretty workout equipment that you are excited to use! This can make all of the difference. Seeing my brightly colored dumbells and pink yoga mat lights me up!

⚡️Treat yourself to some new exercise clothes. Waking up and putting it on will help to signal to your brain that it is time to move your body!

⚡️Decide what type of exercise you would like to try and don’t be afraid to switch it up. Having a mix of things to try is good for determining what works for your body and keeps it fun. This could also mean taking it outside for a long walk or jog.

I like to strength train 3 days a week. Then one day I will do 30 minutes on my treadmill and one day yoga.

⚡️Set an intention to why you are doing this. If we have intention behind our actions, we are more likely to not give up. You can always write the intention somewhere in your workout area.

⚡️Join a class, like pilates, in your area and grab a friend. Having an accountability partner can help you stay on track.

Also, paying for a class ahead of time is good motivation to actually go and do it.

⚡️Create a Playlist of your favorite motivational songs. You can also listen to podcasts or audio books so that you can complete two of your tasks at once.
