Your weekend Feng Shui Guide
Tips for Bliss ✨️
Happy Mother’s Day weekend beautiful!
This weekend is a perfect time to add some Feng Shui magic to your home. Creating a sanctuary for Mother's Day seems like bliss to me.
I have been dreaming of creating an at home spa experience, I just think feeling luxurious at home sounds so good, don’t you think?
Spending all day in my robe feeling relaxed, maybe a nice bubble bath, good chocolate and a good book! Perfection.
There are also a few things that i have been doing inside my home to make it feel like a relaxing sanctuary. These days life is hectic and there is always so much going on. When we leave our home and walk into life experiences, it’s not always happy.
So, it is so important that we make our homes supportive. A place that envelopes us with safety and peace as soon as we walk in the door.
If we experienced chaos outside and then experience chaos when we come home, that toxic environment is what keeps us stuck, sick and in lack.
Feng Shui tips to try
🎀 This week I focused on the places I relax in. The living room being the main room that I drink a peaceful coffee in the morning, the spot on the couch where I journal each morning. It is my room of comfort. When it is messy and unorganized, I can feel the imbalance in the energy.
One thing I do everyday is clear off my coffee table. The coffee table is usually the center of the room. It has seating and furniture placed around it. It is an anchor and also helps to slow down Chi that flows into the room.
Take a look at what is on top of the table. Is it a reflection of you? Does it include something from each of the five elements? (Water, fire, earth, wood and metal)
If not, add something from each element and give it a boost of good Chi.
Here is mine currently;
Rearranging the coffee table is so simple but, very effective in creating a different feeling in the living room.
🎀 If you are trying to be more mindful with what you eat and how your nourish your body, add some blue to your kitchen.
Did you know that blue is a color that is least associated with food? Not many foods naturally contain blue so it can help curb over eating and the need to eat unhealthy foods. Try adding a blue hand towel or a blue vase filled with flowers.
Blue is also the color or relaxation and calm. Blue = sanctuary vibes.
🎀 Show some love to the Children and creativity area of your home. According the the Bagua Map. It is the far right, middle section of your home. Metal is the element to add and the color to enhance is white, pastels and metallics.
You could even place a picture of your children framed in a metal frame. If you don't have children, add a picture of youself as a child.
This Gua supports communication, creativity and connection to your children and your inner child.
🎀 Did you know each Gua is also associated with a family member?
The Mother, oldest woman or Queen 👑 of the home is associated with the furthest, left corner. (The romance and relationship Gua)
Enhance the area by adding something from the earth element and decorating with pink, white or red. Fresh flowers in these colors are a perfect way to honor the Queen of the house.
TIP: If you live with a mother in law, or other older female, be sure to add double of anything you add. We want keep the Chi in harmony and balance!
🎀 If it has been a particularly stressful week. Open the windows or, the front and back door to release any negative Chi that is stagnant and trapped.
You can also do a smudging ritual. This is done by using sage smoke to help banish negative energy. Always open the windows or front door after you smudge.
Notice how the energy feels after. It should feel lighter.
🎀 If this Mother's day is a tough one. Be gentle with yourself. Treat yourself to something. Always know that no matter the situation, you are always worthy and you are always loved 💕
