90% of the emails i receive are about how to attract romantic relationships, but there are a few that i get that are about attracting friendships, and this article is for you!

Some of us have been married for years and have great romantic and life partners, but we are still craving and missing the feelings of having close friends.

Friendships are one of the most powerful reflections of our inner world. The people we attract, or don’t attract, often mirror the energy of our self worth and emotional environment.

If you have been craving deeper, more aligned friendships, i am going to give you my tips for attracting just this.

Let’s make sure that you are open, worthy, and ready to receive meaningful connections.

Activate your relationship area (beyond romance)

In Feng Shui your Relationship corner (back right corner of your home or bedroom from the front door) can also be used to attract lasting friendships.

To align this space with new friendships:

  • Decorate in pairs (two candles, two crystals, two vases) Just like when we are looking to attract romantic love, when we are looking for friendships, decorating in pairs is still important.

  • Add soft feminine tones like the color blush, cream, or warm earth tones.

  • Place items that symbolize meaningful connections.

Avoid:

  • Single, lonely images and objects.

  • Items that are tied to past friendships and memories.

Clear out old friendship energy

If you are holding items from past friendships, your space may be energetically ‘full’ and you may have not have space for new. When you space is full, nothing new can enter and only lingering energy from past friendships will circulate.

Gently release these items:

  • Old gifts that are stored around your home.

  • Photos that bring up sad memories and heaviness, even if they are stored away.

  • Objects, decor, and even clothing, that are tied to a past version of who you were in old friendships

This step matters more than most people realize.

Create space for connection

Look at home and ask yourself “Does this feel like a home that friendships can exist?”

Small energetic shifts:

  • Clear off chairs and couches - make space.

  • Make sure that you have extra mugs, blankets, and seating.

  • Make your home feel warm and inviting.

  • Clear and decorate your front entrance to welcome new people.

Use mirrors intentionally

In Feng Shui, mirrors amplify energy.

Use them to attract friendships by:

  • Placing a mirror where it reflects a warm and inviting area like a dining area or living room.

  • Avoid placing mirrors that reflect spaces in your home that are cluttered, isolated, and emptiness.

You want to energetically double the feeling of: connection, warmth, and belonging.

Embody the energy you want to attract

This is the part that most people skip. Feng Shui works best when your inner world matches your external environment.

If you feel closed off and fear being seen try:

  • Taking a class or starting a new hobby.

  • Journal about your dream friendships, where would you go, what would you do together?

  • Do the things you would want to do with friends, alone, to get into the energy and the friends will follow.

  • Create a friendship vision board.

Decorate your dining area

Dining rooms, in Feng Shui, represent togetherness.

Here are some tips:

  • Always have more than one dining chair.

  • Make sure the dining area has great lighting.

  • Decorate the table as if company is coming.

  • Hang artwork that shows people having fun together, or bowls of fruit that are overflowing.
