New or seasoned mom, this one is for you ♥️

Success used to look like power suits and long hours but then, motherhood came along - and with it, a deeper definition of what success truly means.

In this new chapter of your life, success isn't just measured in numbers, status, or hustle - it's measured in slow mornings, in tiny held hands, and in the pockets of quiet moments in the day.

It's time we talk about what success looks like when you're raising children and rising into your power at the same time.

🖤 The myth of ‘having it all’

Let's be real for a moment. It doesn’t matter if you are a working mom, a stay at home mom, step mom, or anything in between - we have all been judged for something (mostly by other moms!)

We have been sold a lie of not being able to have it all - but why can't we? Who told us we couldn't? Why can’t we be successful in all the things?

Having it all to one mom may look completely different to another.

Truth: We can have it all and we get to define what that looks like for our family.

A few years ago, I was listening to a podcast. The woman was telling the story about how once a week, she drops her children off to daycare to have some time for herself. The judgmental thoughts that flooded my mind when I heard that, were loud. How dare she not want to be with her children every moment of every day? How selfish can you be, you're a mom?

So many negative thoughts came into my mind but, then I decided to look into these thoughts. Investigate them and what I found was what I really felt was envy.

So, when you see another mom doing a thing you couldn’t dream of, take a look at those thoughts, reframe them. What are they actually telling you? They can help shape the type of mom we want to be. These thoughts give us clues, they can actually be helpful.

✨️ Success looks different to us all

Today, if we aren’t doing it all, we can feel like we are failing. But success isn’t a checklist, it is a feeling.

For mom’s, success often shows up quietly.

It looks like:

  • A child that feels loved and safe

  • A passion project that feels good for your soul

  • Quiet moments when the children are content and your coffee is still warm!

Trust me, you don’t need to go viral, be booked solid, or constantly running around to feel worthy.

You are the feminine energy, you were born to receive and feel worthy in every moment.

I once was subscribed to that burnt out lifestyle and I quickly realized that it was not my path to happiness.

You are successful everytime you show up for yourself, take the break you need - for yourself, your family, and for your vision.

🎀 Motherhood as a spiritual portal

So many mothers (like me!) Experience spiritual awakenings after becoming mothers.

Motherhood will crack open - your heart, your ego, and your timelines. You see life completely different after you have a child.

My awakening came after all three of my children were born. While I was in the midst of being home, trying to run a business, while my children were 5, 3 and 2. It was a time that was full of unknowns and very little sleep. I felt lost and life felt a little unstable. A friend had sent me a link to a manifesting money 3 day event and it changed me completely. It helped me to change my mindset around success and abundance. My thoughts of lack changed to feelings of gratitude and life was never the same.

It also led me to where I am today. Blending all of my money manifestation techniques, feng shui and motherhood wisdom that I bring to you in this blog.

🧸 Blending babies and business (without burnout)

If you are a mom with a dream to create more - you can have both, happy children and a thriving business. If you feel like having both is a struggle, let me tell you what has helped me:

  • Set hours for work. This will depend on your schedule. It could be and hours or two in the morning and another during nap time. If you work after your children go to bed, be strict about stopping at a decent time. Your rest is important.

  • Go with the flow of the day. Sometimes I can work a lot and sometimes my children need me more. If your day doesn’t go as planned, don’t stress. Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities.

  • Nourish your nervous system. This is my number one success tip. A calm, balanced nervous system will help you handle almost anything with grace and ease. Learn techniques that work for you. (EFT tapping, breathing techniques, working out etc)

  • Let your children see you work. It's ok if your children see you in work mode. Be available to them but also don’t be afraid to let them see you work on your goals and dreams.

  • Celebrate the small wins. Posting a blog, creating a schedule and sticking to it, making a sale, baking cookies - celebrate it all. Celebrating small wins brings us bigger things to celebrate.

  • Do not compare your life to anyone else’s. Everyone’s journey is different. Comparison will leave you feeling bad. You are exactly where you need to be.

  • Drop other people's opinions. They are not living your life or paying your bills. So hit post on that latest blog post or reel. Your authenticity is your super power.

Final thoughts: This is your journey, these are your children and life is what you make it. Follow that dream and don't forget to love yourself in all the ways while doing it 💋
