How to Feng Shui your car
Your car is an extension of your home. It is an extension of your energy. When we are driving around, our car is the first thing people see of us. It is also a place we spend a lot of time so the energy inside is always affecting us ✨️
How your car feels can influence your mood, safety, and even the flow of opportunities in your life.
I recently listened to a podcast and the host was telling the story of how she listened to a Kris Jenner interview and someone had asked her about how she feels succes. Kris then explained how the energy of her car has helped her feel successful. If you have been reading this blog, you should know that feeling is the secret to getting what you want.
So that led me to putting together a guide for you, so that you can feel successful in your car.
Now, I am a busy mom, I spend a lot of time in my car. My days are spent driving my children all over town for sports and activities. It is a place my kids eat, sometimes complete schoolwork, and sometimes nap. The energy of my car often feels chaotic, but I can tell you, when it has been detailed the feeling I feel is like no other.
How to Feng Shui your car
Your ultimate guide ✨️
1. Keep it clean and decluttered.
If you take a water bottle or something into your car, make sure you take it out when you get home. Otherwise the next time you get into your car, you may bring another water bottle and then before you know it, there are 5 random water bottles in there.
Take unnecessary items out of the trunk. That picnic blanket from summer, take it out in the winter months.
Remove trash and coffee cups.
Treat yourself to a car detail once every 6 to 8 weeks to clean the vents etc.
A clean car symbolizes clear direction in life.
2. Refresh the air.
Add a some scent to your car. These days there are so many natural ways to make your car smell amazing.
Aromatherapy oils are very popular and are less toxic than the generic hanging air fresheners. I love citrus scents in my car. Also, opening the windows often can help prevent stagnant energy.
3. Color matters.
The color of your car can influence energy.
Red: Fast, fiery, passionate - great for confidence.
Black: Sleek, mysterious, protective.
White: Clarity, peace, freshness.
Silver/Gray: Stability and professionalism.
Blue/Green: Calm, healing, balance.
Consider these colors when shopping for a new vehicle. You can also add accents like mats and accessories in these colors.
4. Invite clarity.
Your windows and windshield represent clarity. Have you ever gone for a drive a with dirty windows and felt frustrated or chaotic? Notice when your windshield is clear, how clear your thoughts are as you are driving.
5. Use the center console wisely.
The center console is the heart of the car. Keep it neat and tidy and fill it with items that you need like lip balm, sanitizer, tissues, and a water bottle.
Avoid stuffing it with junk or broken items.
I once had a client that used to stuff her center console with unopened bills and mail. She was always late paying her bills as she never knew when they were due!

6. Keep safety energy high.
Always keep a small safety kit (flashlight, blanket, first aid kit) in the trunk. In Feng Shui, being prepared strengthens the protective energy around you.
7. Set an intention before driving.
Just as you set intentions in your home, do it before any journey. Envision yourself already at your destination, safe and sound. This is a really great tip if you are a nervous driver. It also helps to program your car with good energy.
Bonus tip! Listen to high vibe music or a podcast while you drive. I love listening to podcasts as i drive, it helps me to continue learning as i am on the go.
