Falling for good Chi: Pretty and playful Feng Shui decorating tips for Autumn

Fall is my favorite!

Autumn is approaching and I am so excited for cozy season! I just love when the seasons change, I can feel the shift in energy.

Summer is usually busy, it’s fast, and full of late nights and long days and Autumn invites us to get comfy and slow down.

It’s full of warm textures, pretty colors, and pumpkin spiced everything (not my favorite, but might be yours!) But beyond swapping summer dresses for chunky sweaters, fall is also the perfect time to switch up the decor, and energy in your home.

Fact: Your environment directly influences your mood, motivation, and abundance.

Here is your ultimate guide on how to decorate for fall in a way that not only looks gorgeous but also invites in good Chi.

Play with warm and feminine colors

When we think of fall we almost always associate it with the colors orange, red, and brown. Know that you don’t have to use those colors if they don’t feel like you. Try blending falls hues with other colors for example; blush pink pumpkins, gold accents and ivory throws. These softer colors will bring balance and keep your space light and feminine.

✨️ Feng Shui tip: Add metallics like rose gold or gold to your wealth area to amplify wealth this season.

Cozy up your textures

Chi loves movement and flow, but during cooler months, it also craves comfort. Layer soft blankets, plush pillows, and even faux fur rugs. This creates yin energy (restful, nurturing vibes) that balances out the naturally fast past yang energy of fall.

✨️ Girly hack: Swap out plain throw pillows for velvet or satin ones in Autumn shades. This will make your home feel luxe without being to rustic.

Bring nature in (The Chic Way)

Autumn decor doesn't have to be hay bales and scarecrows. Instead, think chic seasonal touches: fresh flowers in deep jewel tones, a bowl of shiny red apples in the kitchen, or even eucalyptus tied with pretty ribbon for a fall feminine touch.

✨️ Feng Shui tip: Adding natural elements, especially in the family and health area of your home supports grounding and harmony.

Glow with good lighting

The days get shorter, which means lighting is so important for Chi at this time of year. Candles are available everywhere during this time of year. Think cozy, soft, and romantic when it comes to the candles you choose. The golden light will keep opportunities flowing throughg your home.

Declutter before you decorate

Before bringing in new seasonal decor, take a moment to pack away summer decor items. Clutter from the past season may block what is meant to come in thise new season. Clean surfaces before adding new decor and if anything is broken throw it away. Think about nect summer, will you use the same decor again? If not, donate it.

✨️ Donating your unwanted things is a great practice to get into. It keeps abundance in motion.
