5 Genius Feng Shui bedroom solutions for small spaces
This one is for my girls that need Feng Shui solutions for their small bedroom spaces. Maybe you want to call in love but, you don’t have space for two night stands, or two pillows. Or maybe you live with family and the only Feng Shui you can apply is to your small bedroom.
I have always been interested in Feng Shui and when i was 22, living with my family, i knew that i was ready to call in my soulmate and so i decided that i was going to turn to Feng Shui to help me manifest it. The only problem was, my bedroom was the same size as a shoe box. Well, maybe not a shoe box but it was small. Like hold out my arms and touch every wall small.
Despite this, i was married (still am) at 24 years old and moving into my very own home with my husband, just like i wanted. I am going to share with you all that i did. Use these not just for love, but to call in abundance and all of the other wonderful things you want.
Use your walls as a vision board
When you don’t have space to put more furniture in your room, you can use the walls in your room to create what you want to call in.
Since you don’t have space to add another night stand, you can hang two pictures on either side of the bed to still bring in the same energy.
Choose images that depict the kind of relationship you want to have. This could be pictures of couples on vacation, or simply a couple holding hands. If pictures of people aren’t your thing, you can choose images of love birds, or swans. The most important thing is that there is two, and they are hung beside your bed.
2. Create physical space
Two important things:
Make sure there is space around your bed. Make space for someone to come into your bed energetically.
Make space in your closet. This symbolizes that you have room for love and abundant opportunities.
Both of these are so important to do. When we make space with the intention of receiving something we want, it has to follow.
3. Sleep on pink sheets
The color pink holds the energy of love and romance. Sleeping on pink sheets will mean you are sleeping in the energy of love.
Bonus tip: Add two pink throw pillows to your bed.
Make sure that you choose light pink sheets and not dark pink. Dark pink will likely cause sleep disruptions as dark pink can feel too activating, like the element of fire.
Light pink, comfortable sheets are key.
4. Create energetic boundaries
What i mean is, remove things like work out equipment or work related items. This helps to create energetic boundaries especially when you are looking for your soulmate. It will also symbolize having the time to prioritize love over work.
If you have a work desk in your room, clear work items from it at night. You could even replace them with a vase of fresh flowers while you are not working (I did this!) 🌸
Removing or putting away workout equipment will help slow down the Chi in the bedroom.
If you can’t remove anything, place items in a closet or tucked away in a drawer especially while sleeping.
Never place these items under the bed as they will have an impact on your sleep quality.
5. Ground the energy
Make sure that the furniture that you do have in your room is sturdy and made of a good, solid material.
This will help to bring the energy of a stable relationship and not many short relationships.
It is also important to note that for good Feng Shui, your bed must have a solid headboard. A solid head board is overall better for sleep quality and will make the room feel grounded.
May seem a little crazy, but i placed a small mat on the inside of my little bedroom door to help energy come in, feel welcome and grounded, and flow better. Give love a place to land when it comes in through the door.
Bonus abundance tip:
For abundance and love energy, stand at the door of your bedroom and stick out your left arm to find the furthest left corner. This, according to the Bagua map, is the wealth corner in you room.
You can place:
A small wooden bowl filled with various coins.
A healthy plant.
A Citrine or Amethyst crystal.
A picture of an abundant, lush forest.
