From slow sales to overflow: Feng Shui secrets for consistent cash flow
If your business is starting to feel like a cycle of highs and lows, this blog post will help you! It is time to get serious and take a look at why your energy isn’t being energetically supported.
The subject of consistent cash flow is personal to me as i have experienced this. That one week where everything is flowing and feels so good, to the next that is filled with crickets. If this sounds familiar, then there is something in your energy, and the energy around you that isn’t aligned with consistency. When your environment supports flow, stability, and receiving, your business will start to reflect that.
Check in with your wealth area
Whenever it seems money isn’t flowing into your life, always check in with your wealth area. As we know Feng Shui isn’t a set it and forget it type of thing. It is a continuous flow of energy that needs to be cleaned and adjusted often.
Your wealth area is connected to the money energy that flows into your home and business. It represents money, abundance, and financial growth.
So my first tip would be to check that your wealth area is not:
Cluttered
Forgotten
Dusty
Broken or neglected
Your wealth area is the back left corner of your home or office area. To fully Feng Shui this area you can read this blog post.
Some quick upgrades that you can make:
Add a symbol of wealth eg. gold accent, luxury candle, jewelry box
Place a healthy plant here. Plants = growth and expansion
A crystal such as Citrine or Amethyst
Position your desk for power
I can’t even begin to tell you how many times a simple desk move has helped the flow of money in my clients businesses! It is sometimes all the shift you need.
Your desk placement affects how you show up in your business.
If you are:
Facing a wall
Sitting with your back to the door
Working on your bed or couch
You are operating from a subconscious place of limitation or instability.
Instead:
Sit where you can see the door (command position)
Have a solid wall behind you for support
Avoid sitting in front of a mirror
These shifts can help you to increase confidence, clarity, and decision making, and this directly impacts sales.
Fix what is broken
Broken items signal neglect and delay. This includes a delay in payment.
Remove or fix:
Dead electronics
Burnt out light bulbs
Creaky chairs
Wobbly desks
For maximum results it is best to fix broken items in the whole home, but if that is not possible, start with your work area.
These items create the energy of ‘almost’ or ‘not quite working.’
Now think about your sales. Are the consistent? Do people always say ‘let me get back to you’ and then go full ghost mode?
When you fix your environment it sends the signal of: things work here and everything i try works.
Create a clear path for money to come
In Feng Shui energy should flow smoothly like water.
If your home feels blocked or crowded there is nowhere for new opportunities to land.
Look at:
Your front entrance
The pathway to your office or work area
The area that surrounds your desk
Remove any clutter or obstacles. This will literally create pathways for clients, opportunities, and income.
Anchor your space with receiving energy
Most of the office spaces that i see are set up for doing, but not receiving. When our energy is always focused on the doing, it creates burnout and inconsistent income.
To anchor energy add these to your work space:
A soft rug or a soft pillow to your chair
Decorate with calming tones like neutrals
Add earth elements to help ground energy
Always remember that clients respond to energy and not effort. They can feel burnout in the way you respond to them.
Keep money energy visible
If your office space doesn’t have any symbols of money or success, your brain doesn’t register it as your reality.
Make it visible:
Add a vision board to your desk or office
Frame and hang a picture of a past payment milestone
One decor item that represents what you are working towards
One luxury item to your office
This isn’t about pretending but it is about conditioning your mind, and environment to normalize wealth.
Close your energy loops daily
Open loops drain energy, and drained energy affects sales.
Example:
Unfinished tasks
Unanswered email
Half worked on ideas
At the end of the workday:
Tidy your desk
Write down your tasks for the next working day
Stick to your designated work times
When sales were inconsistent for me, i noticed that my work times were inconsistent. I would pull out my laptop and work at random times instead of creating designated working times. I was showing up when i felt like it, and in return money would come when it felt like it, and not when i wanted it to. It wasn’t until i created a work schedule that money started showing up consistently and with little effort.
