And why they will change your whole world!

A few months ago i created a pin on Pinterest about my Monday Feng Shui rituals and it went viral. To this day it is my most pinned image.

I thought i would turn this into a full blog with some added tips that you can do throughout the week. These will keep your home in flow and alignment just the way that it should be and, you can come back to this post over and over again.

The image in question.

Clean the floors

This is my non negotiable. Keeping your floors clean and removing stagnant energy is one of the most simplest ways to change the energy in your home.

  • Pay attention to corners where negative energy can gather

  • Opt for a non toxic cleaner (I use castile soap mixed with vinegar and essential oils)

  • Make sure sure you and cleaning behind furniture

If your Monday is too busy, Sunday would also be a great day.

Water plants

If you have house plants, Monday is great day to give them water and trim off any dead leaves. There is no real reason that Monday works best, but having a set day means that you are not forgetting to water them.

Keeping plants healthy will:

  • Invite the energy of growth and expansion

  • Keep the energy in your home healthy and thriving

  • Keep the energy of wealth circulating (especially if you have plants in your wealth area)

Front door maintenance

Inviting positive energy into your home is crucial for a good week. Not only does it look better but just think, a quick clean of the door is inviting new opportunities in the week ahead.

All it takes is a quick spray of your favorite cleaner and a wipe. Shaking the welcome mats will also help to remove any unwanted energy from coming in.

It would also be a good idea to do a quick scan of the entrance of your home and make note of any way you can improve it for good energy flow. You can also check out this blog post for your front entrance.

Give your stove some love

Just like the image says, your stove holds power and wealth energy. Think about it, where do we cook food that nourishes us and keeps us healthy, and where do we cook the food that we buy with the money we receive? Our stove is one of the most underrated appliances we own.

On Monday’s i deep clean my stove with the intention of money flowing into my home. I also wipe it down after every use to make sure my wealth is flowing in daily.

If your stove isn’t in the best shape or needs repairing, create a plan to get it done. Broken appliances are money leaks.

Light a candle

After i wake up, while my coffee is brewing, i always light a candle and speak an intention into the flame.

Fire energy is connected to manifestation and will help to activate anything you want to achieve.

This takes less than a minute and can literally change your world.

Feng Shui is all about intention. Sure, we can do everything listed in this post without really knowing why, but when we do things with intention, they will always create the desired result. Where energy flows, attention goes.

You can truly create anything you want!

Tuesday:

Change your bedsheets. Sleeping on clean energy will not only help you sleep better, it will help the energy in your bedroom.

Wednesday:

Closet reset. Hang things that have fallen, fold anything that needs folding. Take out things you no longer wear. Creating space in your closet will literally bring more things and opportunities into your life, make room for them.

Thursday:

Living room reset. Pick up anything that doesn’t belong. Wash throw pillows and blankets. Create a relaxing sanctuary.

Friday:

Bathrooms. Your bathroom is connected to money and the flow of finances. Clean it like you live in a fancy hotel. Wipe down counters, throw out products you don’t need, Wash any bathroom mats.

Saturday:

Clean out your car from the week. Your car is important too! We spend a lot of time in our vehicles during the week so we want to make sure we are driving around in clarity and not chaos.

Sunday:

Self care day, because we do enough all week. Do one (or many) thing that makes you feel calm, relaxed, and happy. When our inner energy is in alignment, we can do all things with clarity and joy.

For my self care Sunday i started the new season of Emily in Paris. If you haven’t seen it, i highly recommend you do!
