Fire and Flow: Feng Shui magic for the Aries full moon
Happy full moon in Aries 🌕
Tonight the sky will light up with the beautiful hunter’s moon. It is the perfect time to add some Feng Shui magic to your home ✨️
Tonight’s full moon has a fiery energy. It is a full moon in Aries. While full moons usually invite rest and reflection, this full moon has a fire energy.
You may be experiencing restless sleep, anxious thoughts, and/or repressed emotions coming up in the last week or so. The good news is, in the next few days this energy will settle and, I am going to show you some ways that you can use this energy to your advantage using Feng Shui.
Fire energy can be good when we know how to use it.
🌕 What the Aries full moon means
Aries is ruled by the planet Mars. Mars is the planet of passion, movement, and self expression. Which means this full moon is all about stepping into your power. You may find that your life's purpose is coming into question lately, this is happening for a reason.
You may have a feeling to make some bold moves around this time - trust this. It is your higher power calling you to try something new.
In Feng Shui, Aries energy connects beautifully with the energy of the Fame and reputation area of the Bagua map, since it is connected to the element of fire.
So tonight, we can focus on tweaking this energy in your home.
Step one: Cleanse and clear
Before we can activate the full moon energy, we have to clear stagnant energy. Today is a great day to do some cleaning in your home.
Sweep the front entrance
Shake out your rugs and welcome mats
Open the windows to release anything that is stuck
Rearrange and wake up the energy near your front door
Aries energy loves a grand entrance, so the entrance of your home is highlighted.
Step two: Activate fire
Find your fame and reputation area. This is the middle back area when looking into your home from the front door.
Add fire by:
Lighting a candle
Adding fairy lights or a Himalayan salt lamp
Using warm colors such as red or orange
Update your visionboard and place it here
You can also add some of these activators to your living room and work space.
Step three: Balance fire with flow
Even though we are activating with fire, too much can cause the energy to be off balance. Too much fire can lead to arguments in the home and problems in the work place.
Think moonlight and water. If we are placing fire in our fame and reputation area, make sure we are balancing that energy in other areas. For example: add a candle to the Fame and reputation area, and, a water element to the front entrance.
You can also, use an essential oil diffuser or crystals like rainbow moonstone and selenite to your front entrance.
This creates perfect harmony of fire (action) and water (flow) ☯️
Step four: Moonlight release ritual
Since we may have repressed emotions or experiences coming to the surface, this full moon is the perfect time to release.
Grab your journal and write out all of those thoughts. Pay attention to the feelings they bring up and release those too. Write down all of your fears, doubt, and self sabotaging habits.
Safely burn or flush these down the toilet. Let them go, release them.
To help you feel calm again, write a gratitude list. Keep writing until you feel better.
Step five: Set bold intentions
Now that you feel clearer, you may be able to see things clearly and know what steps you need to take next.
Here are some Feng Shui tips to help:
Reposition your desk to face the entrance.
Hang a piece of Art that inspires you, create one if you don’t have one.
Declutter your closet. Keep items that make you feel powerful and successful.
Change your bedsheets to symbolize sleeping in fresh energy.
If you love classic Feng Shui cures and you have a money toad (Jin Chan) be sure that you give it a wipe down tonight. Make sure that your toad is facing into your home and never facing out.
