The start of a new month brings a new energy and element. June brings us the element of fire πŸ”₯

Working with the element of the month is important in Feng Shui. We want to work with nature and not against it. Feng Shui is all about flow and, as the month and elements change, so should our homes to align with that energy.

The energy of June is bursting with light, warmth and vibrancy. As it is a fire month, it is a perfect time to align your home with the energy that supports passion, visibility, abundance and, growth. All of my favorite things! ✨️

These Feng Shui tips will help you to align your space (and yourself) with the radiant Chi of Summer.

πŸ”₯ Embrace the Fire element

June is powerful time to activate fire. It will fuel your passions and boost your visibility whether in your career, creativity or social life.

Try this: Add pops of orange, hot pink or red to your home decor. Use pillows, candles or flowers in these colors and put them all over your home.

Activate the Fame and reputation area of your home (the back center of your home or room using the Bagua map) with fire symbols like candles, images of the sun and lights.

🌱 Refresh your plants

Plants represent the wood element which harmonizes beautifully with fire. As nature thrives outside in June, your home should reflect the same vitality.

Try this: Give your houseplants some love. Trim dead leaves, repot any plants that have outgrown their current pots and, wipe dusty leaves off.

Place a lush plant in the family area (located in the left center section of your space) to support new beginnings, wellness and, family harmony.

🧼 Do a mid year energy clean

June marks the halfway point in the year. It is the peak of yang energy. This is the perfect time to clear out stagnant Chi. Also, take a look at any goals you set in the beginning of the year and see what has changed and if you can cross anything off that you have accomplished.

Try this: Open all of your windows for 9 minutes or longer to release stagnant Chi.

You can also do a home cleanse using sage, Palo santo or incense to smudge each room, focusing on corners.

Sound will also work to wake up and remove stagnant Chi. You can use bells or singing bowls to break up heavy energy.

πŸ“ Create an abundant summer kitchen

Your kitchen represents health and abundance, and in summer, it's a powerful hub for joyful nourishment. A vibrant kitchen send a message to the universe β€œI am cared for, nourished and open to receive”

Try this: Display a bowl of fresh seasonal fruit like strawberries, peaches or, lemons as a symbol of fertility and abundance.

Keep your stove clean and use all burners to activate wealth.

Display fresh herbs in cute pots on a windowsill to attract freshness and prosperity.

πŸŒ™ Lighten up your bedroom for restful yin balance

Long bright days bring yang energy in your bedroom all day. This can disrupt the yin energy of the bedroom. Bedrooms should be cool, soft and, calming to balance the intensity of the season.

Try this: Swap out heavy blankets for light linens in soft colors like light blue, cream or, pink.

Use blackout curtains to keep the sun out during the day or use an eye mask at night.

Add a rose quartz to your nightstand or under your pillow to encourage self love.
